奉仕の第二段階は、
敬虔な人であることの段階です。
そうであれば、
困窮者の中に神を見るでしょう。
愛と喜びと謙虚さに満ちて、
贈り物を愛する神に手渡します。
その後、感謝を込めて神の足に触れ、足を洗い、
最後に聖水を自身の頭にふりかけます。
神に直接仕えることを許されたことに大喜びするでしょう。

The second stage of service is that of a devout person.
In that case I would see God in the needy.
Full of love, joy, and humility, I would hand over the gift to My beloved God.
After that I would touch His feet with gratitude,
then I would wash them and finally I would sprinkle the holy water on My head.
I would be overjoyed that I was allowed to serve My God directly.
