Volunteers of America classic を終えて！

My thoughts after Volunteers of America Classic in Dallas.

Dallasでの Volunteers of America classic を終えて。

Due to the cold winter,

the turf on the course wasn't the best condition this year.

今年のコースコンディションは

冬の時期に寒かった事もあり

芝付きが悪い状態でした。

Dallas often has temperament weather,
and it was no exception for this year.
The second day was delayed by 6 hours due to lightning.
Under such a difficult condition, I am grateful that 
the course managers were working really hard 
to maintain the course for us.

また、Dallasはよく天気が荒れますが

今年の2日目も雷の為に6時間の遅れもありました。

そんな大変な中でしたが

コース管理の皆さんは私達の為に

コース整備を頑張ってくれていた事に感謝です。

On the first day, I finished with 2 under 
although I missed some birdie chances.
From the second day, I was feeling better will my shots
and made some birdie chances
but I was struggling with my puttings
and the last half was going the wrong way.
Despite of the situation, 
I got back with a birdie at the 17th hole
and I went through to the third day.

初日はバーディーチャンスを逃しながらの2アンダー。

2日目からはショットの感覚も更に良くなり

バーディーチャンスも作りますが

パターに苦戦しながら

後半は悪い流れになってましたが

その中で、17番でバーディーで取り返し

3日目に繋がるゴルフが出来ていました。

On the final day, 
I scored a 4-5 meter putt downhill at the final hole
and I finished with 3 under to end my week pleasantly.

最終日は最終ホールで下りの４～５mパットを決めて

3アンダーとスコアを伸ばし

気持ちの良い1週間を締めくくれました。

It was a game which made me feel 
only If I could put things in right a little more, 
I could get a big score.
It was just the turning point of the season
and I'm looking forward to the second half.

もう少し、噛み合ったらビックスコアが出る。

そんな、手応えを感じた試合となりました。

ちょうどシーズンの折り返し地点なので

後半戦も楽しみです。
