We can find scarlet cherry blossoms

at various places in Okinawa.

The best time to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Okinawa

is January to Feburary, unlike in mainland Japan.

色々な場所で綺麗に咲いてます。
沖縄の桜の時期は本州とは違い
1月から2月が見どころです。

They start blooming as it gets cold,

寒くなると花が咲きはじめる
本州の桜とは品種が違う事が特徴的です。

The flowers I took a picture of today has soft pink colour

but some trees have deep pick colour.

今日、撮影した桜は柔らかなピンク色ですが
色の濃いピンクの桜を咲かせる木もあります。
