Christman in oversea! - 海外のクリスマス！

Thank you very much for the valuable experience.
The way people carry out events vary
from country to country, and it's interesting!

初めて外国でクリスマスを迎えました！

リトアニア出身の家族なので
リトアニアの文化に基づき
クリスマスイブに家族が集まりパーティー。
最低12皿はご馳走の用意が必要なようです。
テーブルには乗りきれない量のご馳走︎
お母さんは今日の日に向けて
買い物へ行ったり食事を作ったり
大忙し︎

There was an extra dish set on the table,
and it was for those who could n’t be here today,
and plates for deceased families and ancestors.
I thought the thinking was similar in Okinawan culture.

テーブルには余分に1皿セットされていて

それは、今日この場に来れなかった人や
亡くなった家族や祖先の為のお皿。
考え方が
沖縄の文化にも似ているなーと思いました。

The eating ceremony was held before the dinner started,
each had a cracker,
picked one of your crackers and one from others
then, said to each other "Sushiventen".

夕食の前にはそれぞれでクラッカーを持ち
自分のクラッカーを1摘み
そして相手のクラッカーを１摘み
「スシベンテン」とお互いで言い合い
食べる儀式を行い夕食はスタートしました。

 

Under the christmas tree,

there were lots of gifts from Santa,
everyone was satisfied with the gifts from Santa!
I also received a gift from Santa-

サンタさんからの沢山のプレゼント

皆、サンタさんからのプレゼントに大満足！
私にもサンタさんから

プレゼントが届いていましたー

貴重な体験に感謝。感謝。
国によってイベントのやり方も違うみたいで
面白いですね！
