I couldn't make a cut
for the the third major event, KPMG.
KPMGメジャー3試合目は

予選落ちとなりました。

The course was set to suit the major tournament.

The rough and bunkers

around the greens had their sides hard,

thus all the balls went to the middle of the bunkers.

At one location,

a short side towards the elevated green was left

with my left foot lower than the right.

I struggled a lot around the greens.

コースはメジャーセッティングらしく

グリーン周りのラフ

グリーン周りのバンカーはサイドを固め

ボールが全てバンカーの真ん中まで行き

場所によっては左足下がりから

砲台のグリーンへの

ショートサイドが残り

私はグリーン周りで

かなり苦戦した形となりました。

It was windy and heavy rain on the first day
so the only way to keep my score going was to play
recovery shots around greens,
but I ended up with eight over ...
On the second day, I couldn't come back with my score ...
and I couldn't advance to the finals ...

初日は風と大雨の中

どうしてもグリーン周りのリカバリーでしか

スコアを作れないシチュエーションでしたが

8オーバー…

2日目は挽回できないまま…

決勝には進めませんでした…

Where I needed a high ball over a bunker,
my ball was in a divot which made it harder to hit well
and I was caught by a bunker.
The flow is really important,
once you get in a divot,
it happens again and again at different holes.
The flow was so bad that I thought it was like a chain of negativity,
but we do have those days sometime in a year ...

バンカー越えのハイボールが必要な

シチュエーションの際には

ディボットに入っていて…

そこから上手く打てずにバンカーへ

流れは本当に大切で

ディボットに入ると

更に違うホールでディボットに

負の連鎖かと思うほど流れは悪かったですが

一年通すとこんな時もあるでしょう…
