I gained good feelings with my shots on Wednesday
and was looking forward to the first day on Thursday!
During the two days of the tournament,
I felt certain with my shots.
It felt like things were cleared.

少しモヤモヤが吹っ切れた感じです。

I had two over on the first day,
and on the second day,
I had a three-putt bogey on the first hole,
and a double bogey on the second hole...
I had a chance to recover my score ...
but I couldn't take advantage of my birdie chances...
Even in the last half, I couldn't capture a birdie.

I faced the 16th hole with four strokes over,
and decided to play aiming for the right in from of the pin
to place the ball at the edge of the green.
I chose a carrier's club but the distance wasn't enough.
I hit an elevated approach from the front.
It went well from there and finished with par.

16番ではピン手前に対して勝負をかけて
グリーンエッジ、キャリーのクラブを選択
少し距離が足りず
手前からの砲台アプローチ。
そこから上手くパーで繋ぎ。

I needed a birdie on one of these remaining two holes
and was thinking there was a chance up to three over!
The tee shot on the 17th was perfect.
The second shot was 192 yards to the pin,
using 7w and the wind from the right,
draw as I imagined and went straight to the pin,
then seven-meter birdie chance!!
I was just thinking of a birdie and hit the birdie putt ...
but it went over 1.5 meters.
I couldn't deliver the putt and finished with five-over bogey.
I needed a birdie on one of these remaining two holes

I stroke the ball only thinking of the hole in one.
The pin was at the left and back on the green,
against the follow wind from the left,
I let the ball fight against the wind and fall into the cup!
The result was that the ball went to the short side,
two meters left on the pin.
From downhill on the elevated green,
it was a bogey and I failed to be qualified
but I remained aggresive to the end.
As I could feel my shots going well,
I am looking forward to the next tournament in San Francisco!

コースマネージメントを考え攻めるのでは無く
ただホールインワンだけ考えて打つ。
左奥ピン、左からフォロー風に対して
ピンに向いて風と喧嘩させて入れる！
結果はピン左2メートルにそれて
左のショートサイドに行き
ダウンヒルの砲台グリーンからボギー
と予選落ちになりましたが
最終まで攻め。
ショットの手ごたえも感じれたので
次のサンフランシスコが楽しみです！
