First frost - 初霜

Comparing to the previous years,
 it's colder this year at where I'm raining.
It was the first time to see the frost today since we started the camp!

合宿場所も例年より寒く
今日は合宿日の中で初めて
霜が降りた日となりました！

Although it won't get to the pure white world
of December in Japan,
it was a little whitish not tick hard,
but everyone at the golf course was nervous.
In the US, when frost comes down
we are not allowed to be on the lawn at all.
They check carefully by gently touching the grass
how far frost is melted.
Once the frost goes away completely,
the practice green, putting green and the course will be open.
If someone steps on the frosting turf,
it apparently takes 2 months for the part to recover...
日本の12月の真っ白な世界まではいかないけど
少し白くなる程度で
カチカチではありませんが
ゴルフ場の皆さんは神経を尖らせてました。
アメリカでは霜が降りると
一切芝の上に上がらせてくれません。
優しく芝を触りどのくらい霜が溶けたか
細かくチェックし
霜が完全に溶けてから練習グリーン
パターグリーン、コースもオープンします。
霜が降りている芝にステップしてしまうと
その部分が2ヶ月枯れてしまうそうです…

Because we play even when frost come down in Japan,
I thought it was completely different!
日本は普通に霜が降りてもプレイするので
全然違うなーと思いました！
