After Daikin Orchid! ダイキンオーキッドを終えて！

My hometown tournament Daikin Orchid was on last week.

Thankfully it was my 20th consecutive entry to the event.

先週は地元でのダイキンオーキッドがありました。
今年で20回連続出場させていただいています。

In my time, even as a high school student,

I could entre for the qualifier of the main event,

so since I was in the second grade,

I was one of the four to go through to the main event.

The experience of playing golf in the brilliant professional field

inspired me to become a professional.

私の時代は高校生から
ダイキンオーキッドの予選会に出場でき
高校2年生の時から
本戦へと進める4人の中に選ばれ
華やかなプロの世界の中一緒にプレイする事で
私もプロになりたい。
という想いも芽生えました。

I have special feeling towards Daikin Orchid.

Due to the bad weather on the 3rd day,

unfortunately it was a three-day tournament.

ダイキンオーキッドは私にとって
思い入れのあるトーナメントです。
3日目は、あいにくの天気で
雨の為に中止になり
3日間トーナメントとなりました。

On the second day, after the half point,

I scored a bogie with 3 puttings...

There was a heavy atmosphere

but I remained patient and 

kept on playing for the final round, which was good.
2日目はハーフ折り返しで
バーディーチャンスからの
3パットボギーとしてしまい…
重たい空気が流れていましたが
我慢、我慢しながらも
決勝に進めてプレイ出来た事は良かったです。

I couldn't convert my birdie chances 

through out those three days

but I'm beliving in myself and keep on going the path 

untill they all fall into places!

3日間なかなかバーディーチャンスを
活かせていませんでしたが
噛み合ってくれる日まで
粘り強く信じた道を進むことですね！

Thanks to all the support from in and out of Okinawa,

it was such a fulfilling week.
今年も県内、県外から沢山の応援を受けて
充実した1週間となりました。
