紫陽花と菖蒲の花は、これからが見ごろになることでしょう。葵の花は、今が満開の見頃です。
Yesterday, I visited Awa Historical Site Park.
The hydrangeas and irises will be at their best from now on. The hollyhock flowers are in full bloom now.

駐車場南側の小道の向こうには、もう少しで満開の紫陽花と菖蒲が咲いています。
維持管理してくださる方々に、感謝です。
Across the path on the south side of the parking lot, the hydrangeas and irises are almost in full bloom.
I'm grateful to those who maintain them.
駐車場西側の、竪穴住居、高床倉庫などの古代の邑（むら）を復元している古代生活ゾーンを抜けると、青石の石垣が見えてきます。みのりの谷です。いにしえでは、神饌田と呼ばれた棚田跡です。
もうすぐ谷には紫陽花が満開になり、訪れる人の目を楽しませてくれます。
Going through the Ancient Life Zone on the west side of the parking lot, where ancient villages such as pit dwellings and raised storehouses have been restored, you will see a blue stone wall. This is the Valley of Minor.
In ancient times, these were the remains of rice terraces called sinsenden.
Soon, the valley will be in full bloom with hydrangeas, delighting the eyes of visitors.
駐車場に戻ると、駐車場の東側で葵の花が満開でした。
到着時には気づかなかったのですが、ラッキーなことに花のカーテンを観れました。
When we returned to the parking lot, the hollyhock flowers were in full bloom on the east side of the parking lot.
I didn't notice them when I arrived, but I was lucky enough to be able to see the flower curtain.

阿波の国徳島県は、いにしえから、水が豊富なため自然が豊かで、1万年を超える前の遺跡も発掘されています。

我が国の降水量はさほど多くはありませんが、何故、これ程に水が豊かなのでしょうか。
この、理由はシンプルで、山々の森林が、貯水のためのダムの役割を果たしているからです。
Our country doesn't have much rainfall, but why is it that we have so much water?
The reason for this is simple: forests in the mountains act as dams to store water.
また、地中に根を張る森林はダムだけでなく、土石流などの土砂災害から私たちを守る役割も担ってきました。
In addition, forests with roots extending into the ground have played a role not only in dams but also in protecting us from landslides such as debris flows.
実は、我が国の国土を覆う森林の70パーセントが人工林ということに、驚かれる方もおられるでしょう。
In fact, some people may be surprised to learn that 70% of the forests that cover our country are artificial forests.
この様な、大規模な植林と育樹は、一朝一夕に叶えられるものではありません。
それは、我々のご先祖様が、遥か数千年も前から、災害に遭遇するたびに山に木を植え、森を大切にし続けてきたからです。
Such large-scale tree planting and tree cultivation cannot be achieved overnight.
This is because our ancestors, thousands of years ago, have continued to cherish forests and forests by planting trees in the mountains every time they encounter a disaster.
私達も、ご先祖様から引き継いだ山と川と海の自然を大切にし、次の世代へと、この大切な自然環境を引き継いで行きたいものです。
We also value the nature of the mountains, rivers, and sea that we inherited from our ancestors, and we want to pass on this precious natural environment to the next generation.
