蜂たちが、忙しなく蜜を集めています。
ここは、産八幡神社の鳥居の前です。
赤、白、ピンクの花が可憐です。
この花は、サツキにしては少し大きいみたいです。
Bees are busy collecting honey.
This is in front of the torii gate of Ubuhachiman Shrine.
The red, white, and pink flowers are pretty.
This flower seems to be a little large for a Satsuki.
帰って調べてみますと、実はサツキの花ではなく、ツツジの花であったみたいです。
サツキとツツジの花の見分け方は、
ツツジの花が一回り大きいこと、と、
サツキの花の雄しべが5本であるのに対して、
ツツジの花の雄しべは、5本よりも多いとの事です。
When I got home and looked into it, I realized that it was actually an azalea flower, not an Satsuki flower.
How to tell the difference between Satsuki and Azalea flowers
The azalea flowers are one size bigger,
While the Satsuki flower has five stamens,
There are more than 5 stamens in an azalea flower.
花の咲き方はツツジが一斉に咲くのに対して、サツキはバラバラと咲きます。
While azaleas bloom all at once, azaleas bloom separately.
葉の違いでは、ツツジが4から5センチ、サツキが2から2.5センチくらいです。
ツツジの葉の表面には柔らかい毛が有り、サツキの葉はツヤツヤしています。
The leaves of the azalea are about 4 to 5 centimeters long, and the azaleas are about 2 to 2.5 centimeters long.
The surface of the azalea leaves has soft hairs, and the leaves of the azalea are glossy.
産八幡神社へは、徳島県立中央病院の東側道路を南進した突き当りにあります。
