昨日、スーパーマッケットで、水仙を見つけました。
見つけたといっても、アスパラガスの隣り、野菜コーナーに並んでいたのです。しかも半額。
ええ！ 水仙って食べられるの？ 隣りのアスパラガスの調理を想像して、
同じように食べるのかしら・・・・
購入してから、取りあえず冷蔵庫に入れました。
Yesterday, I found some daffodils in Sainsbury's.
I found them next to the asparagus on the vegetable corner, and then half price.
Hm......... I thought I could eat daffodils the same as asparagus in the UK.....???
But I didn't know how to cook it. I bought a bunch of daffodils and put it in the refrigerator anyway.
今日のお昼休みに、前の先生のスーザンに中庭で会ったので、食べ方を聞いてみました。
スーザンは目が 
になって。
「食べちゃダメ！」って。
「だって、野菜売り場で見たのよ」と私が話すと
「食べちゃダメ！」って。
「オーノー！」
そばにいた前の先生のロバートが、心配して「食べたら 死ぬよ！」って。
When I met ex-teacher Susan today, I asked her how to cook.
Her eyes .......
'Don't eat them !', she said.
'I saw it in the vegetable corner', I said.
'Don't eat !' she said, again.
Robert next to her told me I might die.

家に帰って束になっているスッテーカーを読んでみました。 読めないくらい小さな字です。
１．茎から少なくとも３cm切ってください。
２．新鮮な水の入ったきれいな花瓶に入れて下さい。
３．直射日光の当たらない涼しい場所に飾ってください。
と書いてありました。 もう少しで死ぬ所でした 
花びんに入れて直射が当たらない所に飾りました。 お花が咲くのが楽しみです。
Susan helped my life.
I put them into a glass and displayed them in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Now I'm looking forward to blooming.
そして、今日学校から帰宅すると蕾が開いていました。
And today, I saw a few buds blooming when I went home from school.
