Today I attended Haps Eikawa seminar in Osaka for the first time.
I have been a fan of Jun Senesac, who runs Hapa Eikawaschool both online and in Los Angeles, since I happened to find his YouTube channel, Hapa Eikawa.
His YouTube channel is well organized and quite useful to learn the real English used in everyday life.
In today’s seminar, I learned a bunch of useful idioms step by step.
Also, I learned the tips for raising my present proficiency in English to the next level.
If you want to reach a certain level of English proficiency, be specific about where you want to go,
Then, when you meet a couple of words or idioms which you think you can use in your daily life, try to use them three times a day and stick to using them for a whole week.
By the end of the week those words will come out spontaneously from your mouth.
I attended its social gatherings after the seminar and had a great time listening to Jun’s life story.
Thanks to his seminar, I am willing to "hit the books" (which means "study very hard") to raise my proficiency in English to the next level!
