2016年10月5日、オランダ王室縁の宮殿「ヘットロー宮殿」（Paleis Het Loo）で開催されていいるアンナ王妃（アンナ・パヴロヴナ）の展示会に出席されたマキシマ王妃。（展示会は2017年2月5日まで）
アンナ王妃（アンナ・パヴロヴナ 1795年1月18日 - 1865年3月1日））はロシア大公女。ロシア皇帝パーヴェル1世と皇后マリア・フョードロヴナの第6皇女（第8子）、アレクサンドル1世の妹でニコライ1世の姉。オランダ王ウィレム2世の王妃で、ウィレム3世の母。
オランダ語名はアナ・パウローナ（Anna Paulowna van Rusland）。
フランス皇帝ナポレオン1世の再婚相手に挙げられるも、母マリアの反対で実現せず、ナポレオンはオーストリア大公女マリア・ルイーザと再婚。
1816年2月21日、アンナはオラニエ公ウィレム王子（のちのウィレム2世）と結婚。アンナは皇帝の娘として浪費（？）豊かさに慣れておりオランダでの堅実な生活に慣れるのは難しかったけれど「真実の愛」と歴史家が言うとおり夫である王に献身的であり、彼女の母国ロシア宮中のとの強いつながりをはじめハーグの宮廷に華やかな彩りを与えました。
Born a Russian Grand Duchess, Anna Paulowna was Queen consort of the Netherlands (1840-1849) as the wife of King William II. Life within the sober Dutch Royal Court was difficult for Anna to accustom to having grown up surrounded by extravagance and opulence as the daughter of a Tsar.
The exhibition creates the atmosphere of the Russian Imperial Court to highlight her connection to her homeland which historians say was her real true love. The exhibition will run until February 5 in the palace museum.
