HAVE you ever watched a teenager polish off a very large plate of ribs? have.
The spectacle, I must say, is totally satisfying, watching how that teen was methodical about slicing the meat off the bones, then gnawing on the bone to savour its juices. And finally, smacking his lips to punctuate an already satisfied carnivorous appetite.
I began to wonder about it. You see, Tony Roma specialises in ribs. Halal ones at that. And so I too attempted to devour what they call their Beef Ribs Sampler.

Needless to say, the meat was tender, making it easy to slice it off the bones. The juicy flavours come from the four signature sauces - Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies, Tony Roma's Red Hots and of course, the original.
As much as I prodded and cajoled, it wouldn't divulge the recipes of these sauces. So, to make do, a compromise was made - it's got a cool deal for today instead of a recipe!
You can to try their ribs coated in Tony Roma's four signature sauces but you have to guess the ingredients in the sauces should you want to cook it at home yourself!
For those more herbivorous, Tony Roma's Grilled Hawaiian Island Salad is a great alternative.

Finally, for those with a sweet tooth, there are six desserts to choose from. Their Dessert Trio allows you to choose three out of the six concoctions in mini sizes. Clever, eh?

IN conjunction with the United States' Independence Day today, Tony Roma's having a ONE DAY ONLY buffet spread.
There will be an array of new dishes and its World's Famous Ribs fresh off the BBQ pit.
Also, there will be a free-flow of drinks that includes beer, soft drinks and juices for Carolina Hurricanes kids.
The buffet is priced at RM47 for adults and for children below 12 years old, it's at RM27.50 .
