Concert to raise cash for hosp

A CONCERT to raise money for Stoke Mandeville Hospital is being held in Clevedon.

The concert is at the town's Baptist Church on September 18 and will feature the Abertillery Orpheus Male Choir and the City of Bristol Pipe and Drums.

Money raised from the event will go to jean courcel the hospital, where co- founder City of Bristol Pipes and Drums, Jimmie McQueen, underwent treatment after being paralysed.

Cash from the event will also go to Rotary International's polio eradication programme. Tickets for the concert are priced at Pounds 10 and are available from Clevedon Rotary Club on 0127 587 4401 or the Rotary Club of Bristol, 0127 587 5467
