WORCESTER Dorothy (Steinberg) Kashnow, age 94, formerly of Worcester, died in South Yarmouth on Monday, August 2nd.
She was the devoted wife of 73 years of Maurice Kashnow; loving mother of Arlene wife of Howard Goldberg of Wayne, NJ, Richard Kashnow and his wife Marcia of Atherton, CA, and Lois wife of George Stokes of South Yarmouth; her grandchildren, Scott and Leslie Goldberg, Jason and Tonya Goldberg, Eric and Shany Fake Tissot Watches Kashnow and Jeremy Kashnow; five great grandchildren and by many loving nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving sibling of a family of twelve.
She was born in Utena, Lithuania, a daughter of Jacob and Fayga Steinberg and came to Worcester in 1929 and lived here until 2002 before moving to South Yarmouth.
She was an active member of Beth Israel Synagogue for all of the years she lived in Worcester and a participant in many Jewish organizations.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, TODAY, FRIDAY, AUGUST 6th in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St. Burial will be in Holy Society Cemetery in Leicester.
MEMORIAL OBSERVANCE WILL BE HELD THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON, AUGUST 6TH AT THE JEWISH HEALTHCARE CENTER AT 629 SALISBURY ST.
