When I used to work as a flight attendant,
I had a big problem of sleeping in the hotel.

Sometimes the pillow doesn't fit to my neck, the room had bad smell,
the noise of outside or from the next door, and of course the jet lag problem.

This time, I advice you how I solve my sleeping problem.

1. Bring face towel from your house
Sense of smell is very delicate. It is not much awareness, but try this.
Put your face towel on the hotel's pillow and just sleep.
The scent from your face towel must be the same detergent you use every day.

2. Make your own aroma
If you feel resistance of using towel, or if you don't have any space to put your towel in to your suitcase,
I suggest you to make your own aroma.
Which I recommend of using Lavender and Neroli.
If I had a stress, I will use Bergamot. Or drink Earl Grey Tee.
*Tips: Use organic aroma!

3. Stretching
There is a pot on your back which you can sleep well.
The pot is at your shoulder blade.
Bring your right arm to your back of head and push softly your right elbow with your left hand.
On the other side too.
Try 10 sec each 2 set.

4. Earplugs
Some people don't like to use earplugs.
I know, I was one of them too.
There's many size of earplugs.
If you feel uncomfortable, or still hearing the noise, try to find small size.
If you get use to it, it will helps you a lot.

5. Moisture
Maybe this problem is only for Japanese, but the hotel's ventilation system makes me dry.
Sometimes I wake up by the mouth of thirst.
So, I ware mask or put towel on my mouth, or fill up the warm water in the bath tub.
