Hi, everyone! It's been a while since we met each other!

I went back to the past journal I had entered at mixi from 2003 to 2014. I've been wandering around in distant memory, astounded with the fact that I had regarded myself as if I were always what I was from the beginning. But that's just misunderstanding.  I've forgotten about something I've been doing so routinely that it's hard to remember if I've ever had that experience. I am amazed at its impact.

One of the experiences was to read books written in English.  I would say I had read a lot, but I don't know exactly how many books I read and at what pace I read them.

The entry says how I started reading.  It appears that I met someone who had read a stack of books that were taller than me.  I've been to many gatherings useful for studying English here and there, and I've met so many people who gave me influence, but nameless. Thanks to him/her (or even I just picked up his words not knowing), the forest of literature was open to me after a long time since my school days.

The records I found there are as follows.  As the first book I read was the DaVinci Code, I suppose I started reading in 2004, near the year of its publication, after I had passed my first level of the English test.  It seems that 2006 to 2009 was the hottest years for me as far as reading goes.  I didn't remember how much time I had left on my hands at that time, or rather, how busy I must have been while reading. I might have found time to read in time.

I've been reading more and more since then, but lately, I've been reading less and watching more videos. I don't have this tension in my life anymore. In this way, my interest in English never ceases, and I enjoy my time with English endlessly, changing the subject we'll continue to do that.

I mean, records are important. I'm going to keep my blog up to date properly as well.

I'll see you soon!
