今日の修善寺温泉は晴れ
昨日の夜、ザーッと雨が降ったものの、朝からいいお天気です。
旅館の玄関を出て、
Clear day here in Shuzenji Hot Springs.
After stormy weather of last night,
today is a beautiful sunny day.

I have walked around Bamboo Grove Lane
ranked ★★ Michelin Grenn Guide.
独鈷の湯の横から竹林へ向けて歩いていきます。
右手にずっと新井旅館を見ながらの散策になります。
Passed by Tokko-no-Yu(hot spring at Katsura River
and walked at small lane by Arai Ryoka on the right.
桂の棟・あやめの棟と通り過ぎて、
Keep walking along Katsura Wing and Ayame Wing.
明治４１年築の霞の棟がこちら

千頭の松をふんだんに使って出来た建物。
角部屋は、横山大観・初代中村吉右衛門が何度も宿泊した霞七号室
Built by senzu pine wood (the finest material).
The room on the corner, Kasumi Wing, housed for many times by
the delebrated painting artist Taikan Yokoyama and the celebrated
kabuki actor Kichiemon Nakamura the 1st.
赤い桂橋に立って霞の棟を眺めてみますが、この時季は新緑で隠れてしまいます。

カジカガエルが、日増しにきれいな音色で鳴いています。
Kajika frogs sing in mellow sound.
桂橋の反対側の楓橋で、カジカガエルを探していると・・・
As I was looking for frogs from Kaede Brige,
あまり見かけない大きめな鳥が動いていたのでパチリ
I saw a big bird which I have not seen before,
静かに近くに寄って・・・ I move closer quietly,
カワガラスのようです。 May be a river crow.
