Tokizou Nakamura
現在の時蔵さんは五代目、実弟が二代目中村錦之介さん。
The present Tokizou is the 5th generation. His young
brother is Kinnosuke Nakamura the 2nd.
お二人の祖父に当たるのが、三代目中村時蔵さん（明治28年－昭和34年）
初代中村吉右衛門さんの実弟です。
細マッチョの二代目中村獅童さんの祖父でもあります。
Their grandfather is Tokizou Nakamura the 3rd (1895 - 1959)
who is the younger brother of Kichiemon Nakamura the !st and his grandson is
Shido Nakamura the 2nd, a young kabuki superstar.
三代目の時蔵さんも吉右衛門さん同様、子供の頃から新井旅館によくお泊まりになっていました。
As Kichiemon did, Tokizou the 3rd stayed often at Arai Ryokan since his young boy's day.
その三代目時蔵さんから、昭和９年に送られた絵葉書です。
Here's a postcard sent from Tokizou the 3rd in 1934.
宛名の新井御兄上様・御姉上様とは、新井旅館三代目相原沐芳と女将のつる。
The postcard is attentioned to Mr. & Mrs. Mokuhou Aihara, the third generation
master of Arai Ryokan.
昭和９年は、天平大浴堂が完成した年で、
「毎日天平風呂の話を致しております。
この次ぎぜひつれていって下さいと子供がいつもいつも言っております。」
と書かれています。
1934 is the year when Arai's Tempyo Bath House was built.
The message of postcard says,
"We talk about Tempyo Bath House everyday.
My children ask me for many times to take to
Arai when you visit next time."
三代目時蔵さんは子供に恵まれ、男女各五人ずついらっしゃいました。
Tokizou the 3rd had a big family of 5 sons and 5 daughters.
