After the shooting finished, I walked around the house to look for
the object to film. And here they are:

少し上から撮ってみるとこんな感じ

二階の廊下の板は、両側の板の巾がかなり広いです。
一階は幅の狭い板を１２～３枚使っていますが、上は全部で４枚
The second floor hallway: The boards on both side are quite wide.
The first floor hallway: Built with 12 ~ 13 pieces of board.
The second floor are built with four pieces.
なぜ？
Why?
一階は下が池になっていることもあり、通気性が良いようにしてあります。
逆に二階は幅広い板を使うことで、歩いていてもぎしぎし音がしません。
Beneath of the floor is the pond, so the floor are built by more narrow
pieces of board for better ventilation purpose.
On the other hand, the second floor are built by wide pieces to minimamize
the sound of footstep.
日本建築ってすばらしいです。
