昭和１１年築 登録文化財 吉野の棟
National registered cultural assets Yoshino Wing
Built in 1936
安田靫彦画伯の設計・考証で建てられました。
Design and historical investigation by Yasuda Yukihiko,
the celebrated Japanese painting artist
この棟は室町時代や桃山時代の古建築の長所を取り入れて、
巧みに庭園と調和させている優美で軽妙な新井旅館がもっとも力を入れた建築です。
床の間や書院の火灯窓・長押の釘隠しの飾りなど
随所に安田靫彦画伯の細かな考証がうかがえます。
The wing is Arai Ryokan's most ellaborated architecture.
The merits of traditional architecure of Muromachi Period(1338~1573) and
Momoyama Period(1568~1600) are introduced into the building. The grace
and smart outfit is well harmonized with the garden.
Details such as tokonoma(alcove), the window in the shoin style room and
the dressing tap that hides the head of a nail driven in nageshi(horizontal bar)
proves the careful historical investigation by the artist Yasuda Yukihiko.
この棟を通称 特別室 と呼んでます。

今日はこの吉野の棟の一階になります 龍田の部屋 のご紹介。
Guest romm Tatsuta is located on the first floor of Yoshino Wing.
部屋に入ってすぐ右側の景色。 窓はもちろん手漉きガラスです。

traditional hand-made.

この籐椅子に座ってのんびりしていると、別世界にいるようです。
