あまりぱっとしない天気ですが、皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか？

紅葉も色付き始め、秋の深まりを感じる今日この頃です。
新井旅館には多くの木がありますが、今日は玄関周りを剪定しております。
Maple leaves are changing its colors. Late autumun season is here in Shuzenji.
Pruning of trees at Arai Ryokan's garden has started.
Today, the pruning is under way around the entrance.
玄関のある月の棟３Fから撮影してきました。
写真では見難いかもしれませんが、紅く染まっております。
下から見るとあまり気づかないのですが、上から見ると綺麗です。

槙の剪定をしていただいております。
先日老朽化した赤松の伐採をお願いした職人さんによって、
伸び放題だった槙も綺麗になっていきます。
Pruning the trees called maki (the pine family) by the same
gardener who worked on cutting the old rotten pine tree
the other day.
今日の青州楼(笑)
明治14年に建てられた木造三階建ての上に六角の搭やを載せ、
新井旅館のシンボルとして百年以上君臨する代表的な建物です。
月の棟３Fからですと色々な景色を眺められます。
今でこそ三階建ての建物は珍しくありませんが、
明治14年に三階建てにするというのは、大変な技術と苦労があったのだなぁと感じます。
