Well, I was supposed to be on the airplane now but somehow am still in Cancun.......
My flight to Vancouver got delayed for 12 HOURS!!! My godness.
What had happened is: the weather in Vancouver has been pretty shit at the moment and couldn`t fly here.
Anyway the air company put us into the Raddison Hotel for a day use and we can even have a free meal tonight! I haven`t got any insurance so have to think I`m very lucky. It`s raining here in Cancun and am not in the mood for the beach, either today(I already had it early in the morning!). I prefer to stay in the room and read, sleep.....
Playa del Carmen got sufferd from the Hurricane(I don`t know the spell) at this time last year. This year we didn`t have any but it`s a kind of a rainy season so the weather wasn`t that great. Good enough though. I went diving and visited some Mayan ruins, had lot of spicy Mexican food and beer....etc etc. I had a great time here in Mexico! Well, everything is cheap here so I went crazy about shopping and now I have more stuff to carry...I cannot stop myself.....as I love shopping! I have to wait for the winter finished very soon in Canada - oh it`s not even started yet! - so I can throw plenty of stuff away.
I would like to learn Spanish next! I loved the way people speak, espesially when people called me `senorita` ! I found it very similar to English and I think it`s a really useful language as it`s used in a lot of different countries. I still like Italian, too but it seems more difficult. French.....too hard. I don`t even wanna try.
Anyway I got a nice tan and am not too chubby for after having had so much food for 2 weeks.
Well, I won`t be able to get back to Vancouver on schedule but everything should work out.
