Hello,
After having spent 17 hours on the bus, I got to Montreal this morning, I found it very hard to sleep on the bus, but once I wore the eye mask & ear plugs, It went alright.
Nevertheless I arrived here at 6.30, I have to wait till noon to check in. I was walking around the town a bit and going to rest in a park. I met a boy up in the park and he was soooooo strange. He is a 19-year-old boy and looks vey friendly and actually nice to talk to. But he was trying to introduce me to his father!!!! His father is 70, and the boy, Anthony thinks his father wants a girlfriend. Aweful, isn`t it?
I was tottally bored so somehow I enjoyed his company for a little while and we walked a bit and I came to the library. I still need to kill 2 hours! But it`s ok, Montreal is nice because I can use internet for 2 hours per day. So I may be able to update this every day. I`m sure I have nothing to put down as I`ve already done a lot here and nothing to do except for working hard.
Well, what did I say last time?
I stayed in Halifax for 4 nights and headed to PEI. Halifax is a tiny town but there are so many Canadian tourists. The hostel I stayed was totally Canadian world. They were all friendly and nice to chat with. The best thing is that I could collect a lot of information of the cities I`m planning to go. Some of us went to the Lebanese festival in town one night, and it was quite enjoyable. We could see an interesting dance show there.
It wasn`t that long way to get to Charlottetown from Halifax. About 6 hours? That`s nothing.
Charlottetown is a tiny little town and there are not many to see. The fisrt night, Anja and I met Swedish girls in the hostel and actually we were familiar each other as we stayed at the same hostel in Quebec! Everybody is heading to the same places and bump into each other all the way. That`s why I and Anja started to travel together. Anyway, we all decided to rent a car for a day and drive on the coast. One more girl from New Zealand joined us so we could share all the bills with 5 people, that made the trip very reasonable.
The other 4 girls were not really interested in "Anne of Green Gables". Hiro-p gave me the book so I finised the book up on the way to Charlottetown. I was touched.....really into the story and pretty much ready for Anne! Of course I went to the national park(by myself, the girls were kindly waiting for me for an hour). I know that they were all fake stuff, but good enough for me.

We saw some lighthouses, beautiful rivers, beaches....enjoyed a lot. The poorest thing is that I forgot to bring my bikini. Oh dear, but there were so many yucky jellyfishes so we couldn`t jump into the water though...Halifax, PEI all those area are very famous for Lobsters so I was longing for the chance to have them, but couldn`t make it. What a shame.
Anja updated her blog with few pics so you can see me again. Me? Sorry I lost my cable so cannot load pics...I also gave the link to my parents and surprisingly my dad could read German! He understood what she wrote in her diary! I`m proud of him!
Anja came along with me to Montreal but she went further to Kingston, she will stay for 24hours on the bus! Hope she is ok. We`ll catch up in NYC next time, which is on the 25th July. We can stay together for 3 days but not any more. She`s got 3 months in the US and wants to see as many cities as she can. So she is in a kind of rush. I decided to go to Washington DC, too! That means I can visit 4 cities this time! Very excited. I`m going back to Toronto to see Ian and I haven`t got much time left to head to Banff. My parents are coming on the 12th August!!
For now, I`m planning to stay in the mountains in winter time. I know it`s pretty cold and I`m not sure it`s bearable for me or not. But the Kiwi girl, who I rent a car with, lives in Jasper(also in the Rocky mountains) and I got influenced by her a lot. So funny, I used to say that I hate the cold, I might not stay in Canada till winter.....See? now I even think that I might challenge skiing or snowboarding!!! My feeling is quite changeble as you know.
I`ll try to find a job through the winter time. It totally depends on my luck.
