先週末、友人の結婚式に参加してきました！！
奥さんが日本人、旦那さんが韓国人の日韓夫婦です
私は韓国の結婚式に行くのは初めてだったのですが・・・あっという間に終わりました！！！笑
日本の結婚式は、披露宴があったりと3時間くらいありますが、今回の韓国の結婚式は30分で終わりでした！！笑
式が終わった後は、そのまま同じ建物内にあるブッフェ会場に移りブッフェを食べて終わりです！！
日本の式に比べて、とってもラフな感じです！！
お祝儀もブッフェ代を払えばいいだで、誰でも来てOKなので、来客者の服装もジーパンなどで着ている人もちらほらと見かけました！！
けど、やっぱり友人のウエディングドレス姿を見ると感動しますね
さて、今日はそんな結婚に関する英語の記事を読んでいこうと思います！！

- in marriage : 結婚して
- a late marriage : 晩婚
- plural marriage : 一夫多妻
- an arranged marriage : 対立した結婚
- a love marriage : 恋愛結婚
* call attention to : ~に注意喚起する
- call attention : 注意要請
- call somebody to attention : ~に喚起を命ずる
A fake wedding between a 12-year-old girl and adult man in Norway is drawing attention to the issue of child marriage.
ノルウェーで、12歳の少女と大人の男性との嘘の結婚が、児童結婚に対する争点として注目を集めている。
* fake : にせ物の、偽りの、
* draw attention : 関心を集める、気を引く
- draw ateention away from : ~から注意を向ける
- draw keen attention : 沢山の関心を集める
- draw public attention : 大衆の関心を集める
* issue : 主題、争点、問題
- be at issue : 争点となっている。

テアと呼ばれるその少女は、先月のブログに結婚準備の写真を掲示し始めた。
* preparation : 準備、備え 、準備する行為・過程
- food preparation : 食事の準備
- 例 : Careful preparation for the exam is essential.
(細心な試験への備えは必須である)
People grew angry when it emerged that the groom was a 37 -year-old man.
新郎が37歳の男性ということ知った人々は怒るようになる。
* grow : ～になる、～するようになる（ここでは自動詞として解釈する）
- to grow old : 年を取る
- to grow bored : 退屈になる
- to grow claim : 静かになる
- 例 : The skies grew dark and it began to rain.
(空が暗くなったら雨が降り始めた。)
- 例 : As time went on he grew more and more impatient.
(時間が経つほど、彼はより一層忙しくなった。)
* emerge : 出る、姿をさらけだす、明らかになる、知られる、できる、目立つ
ここでは、"事実や考えなどが明らかになる、知られる"と解釈する。
- 例 : No new evidence emerged during the investigation.
(その調査では新しい証拠が何も現われなかった。)
- 例 : It emerged that the company was going to be sold.
(その会社が売却されることが知られた。)
* groom : 新郎（birdegroom の同義語）
groom は動詞で "手入れする、整える、対比する、訓練する" の意味を持っており、
名詞では "馬主、馬飼育担当者"の意味がある。
However, the "wedding′ was a part of a campaign by international aid organization Plan, to raise
awareness on the issue.
しかし、その"結婚"は児童結婚に対する意識を高めるための国際援助機構 Plan によるキャンペーンの一環であった。
