ノルウェー滞在中の天気予報はずーっとよろしくなかったので、旅行計画は慎重にたてないといけませんでした。ノルウェーを選んだのは自然を満喫するため、でも豪雨が降ったりすると自然を楽しめない。。。滞在中1日だけあったほぼ一日晴れの予報。その日を選んで、有名観光地、Preikstolenに行くことにしました。
Since the weather prediction was not very good while we were in Norway, we needed to plan what to do carefully. We chose Norway to enjoy the nature. but we cannot really enjoy the nature in case of heavy rain. We had only one day that the forecast was reasonbly positive. We chose that day to visit a famous tourist distination, Preikestolen.
PreikestolenはLyseフィヨルドの断崖絶壁の上にあります。高さは604m。そこは25x25mほどの広さの平たい部分が椅子（stolen）のようだとのことでこの名前のようです。勇気があるなら、ここの端っこまで行ってLyseフィヨルドを上から見下ろせるという場所です。結構な距離を登らないといけないのですが、かなり人気の観光地のようです。知り合いからここ、Preikestolenはめちゃめちゃ混んでるよーとは聞いていました。渋滞ができるから夕方くらいに行った方がいいとも。
Preikestolen is a very steep cliff above Lysefjorden. The height is 604m. There is a flat top part of about 25 by 25 meter. You can go to the edge to look down to the lysefjorden from above, if you are brave enough. It is a very polular tourist destination, even though it requires some serious climing. We heard from a person we know that Preikestolen is often very very crowded. There is a queue of people climing to there. It is probably better to go in the evening....
混雑を避けるため、キャンプ場を早めに出発しました。そこまでの道路は全く混んでおらず、楽観的見ていたのですが、実際ついてみると第一駐車場（乗用車400台収容）はすでに満車、我らは第２駐車場（乗用車600台収容）に案内されました。この第２駐車場もすごい勢いでいっぱいになって行きます。無事駐車でき、登る準備も万端。
To avoid the crowds, we left our staying place relatively early. The road there was not very crowded, but when we arrived, the first parking was already full (400 cars can park) and we were sent to the second parking, which can have 600 cars. The second parking was also filling up very quickly. We parked our car safely and were ready to start climbing.
すでにかなりの人。
There were already a lot of people.
上りは約2時間かかります。経路はかなりよかったですよ。なだらかな所もあれば、湿地帯や急な階段もあり、このルートの多様さが登山を飽きさせません。
The climb took about 2 hours. The route was pretty nice. Relatively gentle slope, wetland and steep stairs, there were different types of route and we did not get bored while walking.
上まで登り切ったら視界が開けます。
When we reached the top, the view became open.
すごく広い岩地。
Very wide space.
Lyseフィヨルド。
Lysefjord.
景色は最高！そこから数分歩くと、目的地Preikestolenです。
The view is spectacular. After a few minutes walk from there, we reached Preikestolen
端で写真を撮りたい人たちの行列が。。。このブログでも何回か書いたかもですが、Dropは高所恐怖症なのです。もちろんここ来ることもかなり渋ってたのですが。このPreikestolenの平らなところに上がるのも嫌だと（25x25mもあるのに）。しかも私や子供達がこの端っこに行こうものなら離婚やと言いよった。いや、並んでまで端に立つ気ないけど。。
There was a queue to take a picture at the edge... As I probably wrote several times here, Drop has a fear for heights. Of course he was very unhappy to be there. He didn't even want to go to the flat part of the preikstolen. He also warned me that in case I (or children) go to the edge, he would divorce me....
もしこの混雑を避けたければ、もう少し登ってみるというのもありですよ。上の写真の右側にある岩壁をすこーしだけ上に登ると、人は少ないし、さらにいい景色が楽しめるのですよ。
If you want to avoid the crowd of people, you can also climb a bit more. After you climb just a bit of the rock wall on the right side of the picture, you can go to much a quieter place and enjoy an even better view.
お昼を食べた後、雨が降り出しそうだったので、すぐ下山を始めました。
この混雑からの影響は下りの方が顕著でしたね。時々狭くて急な階段なんかはゆっくり降りる人をずーっと待たなくてはいけませんでしたから。
After having lunch, we started going down, since there was a risk of rain...
Going down was a bit more difficult due to the crowds. Sometimes we needed to wait quite long to go through a narrow path...
全行程は約4時間。予想通り、すごく混んでました。でもハイキングとしてはなかなかよかったかな。一番並んだのは最後の駐車場の支払い。。駐車料金精算機からものすごい長蛇の列が伸びておりました。たったの一台しかないんですもの。。。
The whol trip took about 4 hours. It was very crowded, as expected, but it is still quite a nice walk. I needed to wait the longest to pay for parking in the end... There was a huge queue for the payment machine.. of which there was only one....
