Little chemists ー小さな科学者ー

季節はもうどっぷり秋ですが、今日はある夏の終わりの日の出来事。Dropと子供達が何かせっせとやり始めました。

Although we are already deep into autumn, this piece is about a day at the end of last summer. Drop and the children started doing something serious.

お水を測って広口瓶に入れる。

Measure a certain amount of water and pour it into wide glass bottle.

何やら白い粉を測っております。

Measure an amount of mysterious white powder.

測った粉を水の中に入れる。

Add mixing the powder with the water in the glass bottle．

よくかき混ぜて・・・この瓶の中にある違う液体の入った小瓶を入れ、小さな穴を開けた広口瓶の蓋を閉める。

Stir it very well, then add a small container with another liquid, and screw on a lid with a hole in it.

庭にセッティング

Set it in the garden.....

手作り消化器でしたー！なんでもスーパーヒーロー本というのがあって、こういったもののレシピがいっぱい載ってるんだとか。まぁ、理系で科学大好きのママとしてはこういった実験は大歓迎ということで（家の中を散らかすのでなければ、ね）。笑

It was a handmade fire extinguisher! Boy1 has a book called Super Hero Handbook, which contains a lot of this kind of experiments. I really like science and I am a chemist myself, so those experiments are always welcome... (as long as they don't make a mess in the house)
