昨年の10月から４回シリーズで子供向けのサイエンスワークショップというものがあり、Boyを連れて全4回参加してきました。こちらオランダですが、なんとそのワークショップは日本の子供向けで日本語開催！自分がサイエンス好きなので、子供にその楽しさを伝えたいという事と、日本語教育にも良いかなーという事で、会場は日本人が沢山いるアムステルフェーンの町（当然か。。。）と我等の家からはかなりの距離なのですが、頑張って通った訳であります。
Since last October, we have been visiting an event called the "Science workshop" for children. The programme consists of 4 meetings, held each month, every time with a different topic. We joined all four times with Boy. We are living in the Netherlands, but the workshop is actually for Japanese children and held in Japanese. I like science, so I wanted to introduce the fun of science at an early age, and I also thought it might be good for his Japanese language education. Although the workshop was held in Amstelveen, where a lot of Japanese people live (of course), and it is quite far from our house, we still decided to join it.
内容はとてもよく考えられていて、Boyは毎回大興奮。いつもは車に長く乗っていると文句を言いだすのに、このサイエンスワークショップ行き（1時間半くらいはかかります。）は全く文句を言うこともなく準備も協力的。（毎日の学校がそうだといいのだけど。。。学校は好きだが、仕度にものすごい時間がかかる。）
4回シリーズのトピックは
①シュワシュワ入浴剤をつくろう
②松ぼっくりの不思議
③落ち葉で染物
④水だんごをつくろう
The contents are quite well conceived. As a result, Boy was very excited every time. He usually starts complaining when he is sitting in the car very long, but for this workshop, he didn't complain at all, even though it takes about 1.5 hours to get there. He is also very cooperative for preparation early in the morning. (I wish that is true every morning for school.... He likes school, but his preparation time is really endless.....)
The topics for the four workshops are:
1. Let's make our own bath foam!
2. The mystery of pine cones
3. Dyeing by fallen leaves
4. Let's make water balls!
特に1回目の入浴剤と4回目の水だんごはすごく楽しかったらしく、興奮ぶりは半端なし。最後の水だんごの回で何枚か写真が撮れたのでちょっとご紹介。
He especially enjoyed the first session, making bath foam, and the last one, water ball making, very much．His enthusiasm was max. I would like to introduce some pictures from the water ball making.

何はともあれ、4回楽しめたようで何よりでした。日本語の授業も普通に理解していたみたいだし。（ま、私はおかげ様でアムステルフェーンの日本人経営の美容院に行けたりしたわけで。笑）こう言ったワークショプは良いですね。オススメですよー。
Anyway, Boy could enjoy all four sessions. It was excellent. He seemed able to understand the lecture as well, even though it was held in 100% Japanese. (I could also, conveniently, go to the Japanese hair dresser after the workshop was over.) It was a really good experience. I recommend it.
