ミュージアムカードも購入して、これで１年間はミュージアム行き放題です。
Last weekend we went back to Yde after some time. We could have a relaxed time there and went to a museum. I, Anko who don't have artistic sense, have tried to avoid going to museums (especially art museums because I cannot understand the art), but I am living in Europe where there are a lot of museums and it is now the autumn of art... I decided to go to one close by first.
We bought a museum card and can go to any museum for free for 1 year!
今回行ってみたのはドレンテ洲都アッセンにあるドレンテミュージアム。博物館と美術館のどちらの要素も兼ね備えたようなミュージアムです。今回は特別展示でヴァイキング展をやっておりました。
The museum we went to this time is the Drents museum that is in the (tiny) capital city of Assen in Drenthe. It has all the elements of arts, archeology and history. A viking exhibision was held when we went there.
ヴァイキング展はなかなか面白かったですよ。いつ頃の出来事なのか、あまり良くわかっていなかったのですが、日本でいう奈良平安くらいから始まったみたい。宝飾品が多く展示されていたのですが、そんなに古いものには見えないくらい美しかったですね。
The viking exhibition was quite interesting. I had almost no idea when vikings were active. It started around the Nara or Heian period in Japan. There are a lot of treasures displayed and all of them are very beautiful, so that they do not seem as old as they are.

午前中はヴァイキング展を楽しんで、お昼はミュージアムカフェへ。
We enjoyed viking exhibition and went to museum cafe for lunch.

午後からは常設の展示物の見学です。
こちらのミュージアムの常設目玉展示物はYdeの少女。dropご両親お住まいのYdeで発見された少女の（要は）遺体です。彼女は約２０００年前の遺体なのですが、全身の皮膚と髪の毛が未だ残された状態で発見されたのです。研究によると、彼女は理由は不明ですが、１６歳で殺され、酸性の沼地のようなところに捨てられました。その沼地の状況が人間の体の保存に適していたとみえ、体が残されたということのようです。ちょっとグロイので写真は撮りませんでした。ので、ご興味のある方はWikipediaのページで。（日本語はありませんでした）
We had a look at the permanent display in the afternoon.
The main display in the museum is the girl of Yde. In fact, it is a dead body found in Yde, where Drop's parents live. It is the body from about 2000 years ago and found as the skin and hair are kept very well. According to the research, she was murdered when she was 16 and was thrown into an acidic swamp. The condition of the swamp seems to be good for keeping the human skin/hair and the body was kept well. I didn't take a picture since it is quite grotesque. 他には昔のオランダの家内部。すべての物を入れた！という感じでちょっといっぱいいっぱいになってますが・・・。
Another thing is display of old Dutch rooms. They put everything in one room and it feels like a lot in one room though...
絵画もありました。これはankodropが気に入った一枚。油絵で場所によっては5cmにもなるかという厚さで描かれています。近くに寄ったら何がなにやら。でも遠めで見ると（写真で見ると）ちゃんと犬なんですよねぇ。
There are some paintings as well. This is the one AnkoDrop liked. It is an oil painting and some parts were painted with 5cm thickness. When we saw closely, we have no idea what it is. But when we saw it in distance (or in the picture), it is clearly a dog.
他にも古いポスターとか、年代別の流行りものとか、いろいろありました。うん、ミュージアム、悪くない！
ミュージアムカード活用するぞー！
There were also old posters, popular things in each period and so on. Yes. Museum is not bad!! We will use the museum card as much as possible!
