the world has developed.

We have still the region that is difficult to be called DEVELOPED because of its lack of materials.
Those who live in such a region are being exploited by much developed countries.

but generally The world has been developing and it creates this too complicated society.

If you want to survive this society, you will be encouraged to be educated to go to good university, where you find it easy to live university life because you can corporate with your peer for the test, and you can also cheat on the teacher. you will feel there is no need to study, and this is a place to enjoy because everyone does. you will graduate without any special knowledge that you could learn about your major.

After that, you have to send your resume to 100 companies and visit them and be screened by interviewer. It's very all the harder and tougher for this economic crisis. But it's your duty. Everything is for The job.

If you're so lucky, some companies will pick up and hire you. whether it is your ideal job that you're looking for or not, you have to take one. Otherwise you will be looked down on by the other.

However, remember that what you managed to get is the start of end of your life.

In the work place, you will be commanded by your boss. This is the very hierarchical world where you have to obey the boss If he or she says"2+2=5". You cannot deny it. you work like ant.
One thing that you feel is your income is limited even if your performance is excellent. you realize that you are working for the profit of the others, not directly for you and you are just one gear that is found in a big machine. that gear doesn't affect whole organization in your absenteeism. you are scared by the fear of risk that you can be replaced easily. there are so many alternatives. everybody wants your position. Only you can do is just work desperately.

It lasts until you retire or drop out.

In the life after you retire, What is lurking for you is the life full of worries. the government neglect or fail to pay your pensions for some reasons. so you should be careful not to spend so much money for your enjoyment. you save money although you are looking for gorgeous and relaxed and peaceful life.

After I've written this, I feel sad. I suppose this is an ordinary life that most people face.

It's sad.

There is 80/20 rule.

This rule applies to some marketing case that 80% of the product's sale come from 20% of the it's user.

It means the certain customers buy the products more frequently than the other customers.

This is a challenge for the company to distinguish its heavy customer from light or medium one.

Good example is beer company. they know that the heavy users is from 20 to 30 or so and the elderly doesn't consume too much.

So, what they do for efficient marketing is to focus their market power on young people.

there are so many consumers. It's difficult to identify the specific customers that are likely to buy the product which I want to sell to sell.

Marketing is difficult.
I love metaphorical expression.

Those writing that sentences are so creative. It's beyond me. If you want to make one, it requires so much thinking because it should be a slice of life, from your and our experiences!

Why? because it make it easy for readers to understand, feeling sharing your life.

Anyway, I'm not qualified to talk of making one. I'm not educated for that.

So, I've got some of them. I'd be happy if you read them, which I'm gonna introduce with my personal comment, and appreciated them.

1: Life is like a bagel. It's delicious when it's fresh and warm, but often it's just hard. the hole in the middle is its great mystery, and yet it wouldn't be a bagel without it.

Me: This is first one. Very nice one, and Interesting is it's up to you to find and decide what the hole is.

2:Life is like eating grapefruit. First, you have to break trough the skin; then it takes a couple of bites to get used to the taste, and just as you begin to enjoy it, it squirts you in the eye.

me: it remind me of my first try to get a girl friend.

3: Life is like a banana. you start out green and get soft and mushy with age. Some people want to be one of the bunch while others want to be top banana. You have to take care not to to slip on externals. And, finally, you have to strip off the outer coating to get at the meat.

me; Is this good? I'm afraid not.

4: life is like cooking. It all depends on what you add and how you mix it. Sometimes you follow the recipe and at other times, you're creating.

me; I like it. Seems that it attributes all things in life to you. My belief is life is mostly subject to internal factor.

5: Life is like a jigsaw puzzle but you don't have the picture on the front of the box to know what it's supposed to look like. Sometimes, you're not even sure if you have all of the pieces.

me; I love the last sentence. Some of us have all. the others unfortunately not. Life is UNFAIR.

6:Life is like unassembled abacus. It's what you make of that counts.

Me; you can make anything you can, maximizing your given materials.

7: Life is like new product development. Market research is the decision by the parents to have children. Product conceptualization is conception. Development of prototype is birth. Debugging of prototype is learning. successful sales is working. Product maturation is retirement. And product obsolescence is death.

me; Well, so many younger generations don't work. My parents failed at the step of debugging of prototype or somewhere else.

8; Life is like a maze in which you try to avoid the exit.

me; It's simple and nice. but,let me say, we cannot go backward and try another way when we find ourself heading for a dead end.

9; Life is like riding an elevator. It has a lot of ups and downs and some one is always pushing your buttons. Sometimes you get the shaft, but what really bother you are jerks.

me: not really. we don't have a floor top which you have to stop at.

10: Life is like a poker game. you deal or are dealt to. it include skills and luck. you bet, check, bluff, and raise. You learn from those you play with. Sometimes, you win with a pair or you lose with a full house. But whatever happens, It's best to keep on shuffling along.

Me; This is what i'm looking for. If you feel pretty confident about your cards, in one certain situation, you might lose to unexpected prayer. It's most all about luck. but you have still chance and power to make it better. I love it.

11: Life is like a room full of open doors which close as you get older.

me; Good one. I have many choices for final destination for my life. There is no correct choice, but you know, it's closing.

That's all. All of them are stuffs that my teacher told us. Was it interesting?

What do you think life is like?

Yes, today's topic is philosophy of starbacks.

When you walk down the street in down town, you see a starbacks at every block. Even though it's not a trend or temporary demand, it successfully keeps its popularity.

I wondered, What make it special?

I googled it, I found one article about its philosophy.

Its philosophy is "PUT EMPLOYEE FIRST", which means they concentrate on developing and training them well, and treating them well. So, they actually receive so much benefit, regardless of full time or part time job. And 2007, Star backs was ranked as the 16th best company to work for.

The reason why they put employee first instead of customer is that, simply put, they believe the employee will treat the customer well, if they are treated well.

And it works! I feel that. When I want to relax with coffee, I have the choices, I can go to Tim horton, or Starbacks. Both of them is near to my school.

I prefer to go to starbacks. Because their attitude and mood is relatively better! They smile, they joke, They are nice! On the other hand, Tim's employees is people without redundant conversation, smile. I feel as if they worked only for money.

Before I finish, I wanna say, This is just one of the philosophies the have. they developed strategically elaborate plan to invade not only north america, but the other country where the coffee is not popular.

They are great. This is my impression.
Today, I tried roller blades for the first time.

Since I came here, I've been giving an envious gaze to people skating on the rode smoothly, comfortably, gracefully. They go through the street filled with the car. they are at a terrific speed. They look definitely cool to me.

Today is good weather, and I was sure that it' gonna be good idea to do roller skating.

I went to the shop near to the big park and rent roller blades, thinking about how cool it will be if I go around park with them.

I put them on, and was ready to go.

But when I stepped out from the shop, I felt at a loss how to control myself and, suddenly, fell down in front of people.

I raised myself and tried again. And I brought myself forward. when I wanna stop, I tangled myself and fell down. that moment was miserable.

It's like the fawn right after the birth.

Even after the numerous tries, I couldn't see any progress. And my girl friend fell down and shesaid painfully she prefer giving up to continuing. and That's the end of my roller blades time.

I ended up in giving up before I know how to stop.

I swear I'll NEVER touch them. Now my hands hurt. My feeling also hurts because of series of embarrassing falling down.

I and my gf reached agreement that bicycle was simply better choice.
