INTERSTYLE in Japan!
I went to the Interstyle exhibit in Japan the other day.
It's been such a long time since I last went, but it was
packed with both people and good energy!
It really got me excited!
先日日本で行われたインタースタイルに久しぶりに
行って来ました。
会場は沢山の人とエネルギーでいっぱい！！
とっても楽しかったですよ。
I went because I had the opportunity to meet with
the designer who created the Ocean's Love logo.
It would be our first time meeting, and I really
wanted to check him out at the Ocean's Love booth there.
His name is Mr. Tsuda, and he is a very charming
and fashionable person.
インタースタイルでは、Ocean's LoveのTシャツを作って下さっている
Pacific Ocean Blueさんがブースを出していました。
そちらでOcean's Loveのロゴをデザインして下さった
津田さんと初お逢いする事が出来ました。
とってもチャーミングでオシャレな津田さん。

こちらは、Ocean's Love の２０１２年のコレクションの中の
一つ。
阿比留さんがデザインしたものです。
とってもCute
I also went to Destinatio's booth.
Can you believe they've been sponsoring me for 10 years?
They have great board bags, strong leashes, surf wax, and
pretty much anything else you would need to go surfing.
そしてDestinationさんのブースへもお邪魔してきました。
私は、なんと１０年近くスポンサードをして頂いているんです。
ノースで大きな波に乗るときなどは、Destinationのリーシュに
本当に助けられています。
その他にもトラベルバック、ワックスなどサーフィンに
必要な物は全てあります！
Later, I was walking around and found this cute tent for kids!
会場を歩いていたら、こんなにカワイイ子供用のテントも
見つけました！私が自分用に欲しい～～
皆さん、もう知っていました？
The Surfer's Journalの日本語版がある事を？！
とっても元気で面白いGeorgeさんに
何冊も頂きました。
とってもお茶目な津田さんも仲間入り。
I also came across this really neat sandal/shoe company
called IndoSole, created by two very friendly guys.
The soles of the footwear are made from old motorbike tires,
which are salvaged from landfills in Indonesia.
Each one is handmade with lots of love!
I really love cute and functional products such as this,
and the best thing is that you're doing a good thing
for the environment by wearing them!
These are going to be my favorite sandals from now.

そして、私が一番注目をしたのはこちら！
IndoSoleというオシャレでエコなサンダルとシューズ。
カリフォルニア在住のとってもフレンドリーな男性２人が
作り上げたブランド。
インドネシアでゴミとなったバイクのタイヤをリサイクルして
サンダルと靴の底を作っているのです。
その他にもサンダルの上の部分をバナナの葉っぱを
使って作っていたりと、一つ一つ愛がこもっているハンドメイド。
とっても地球に優しくてカワイイ靴達。
これから私のお気に入りになる事間違い無し！
