Sendai Now.

I stayed at my friend's house in Onagawachou.

She is one of the few surfer girls they have

in this town, and her name is Mikiko-san.

She told me that it was perfect timing for

me to come and do yoga with the people

because now that they have moved into the

temporary homes, they have time to think and

when they think about the future, they get worried

because there are no jobs and they just feel lost.

It is important to note that when you do yoga,

it clears your mind and gives you energy inside,

so in that sense that she meant this was the perfect thing.

I was really happy to hear that.

It really made me feel wonderful inside when I saw them

smile and tell me that they want to do yoga more and

that they want me to come back to teach them again!

I definitely will go back!











今回女川町では、美貴子さんという女川町の

数少ない女性サーファーの方のお家に泊めさせて頂きました。

お世話になるのも悪いと思ったのですが、

ホテルもありませんから。。ご迷惑だったと思いましたが

泊めさせて頂きました。

美貴子さんは急に来た私の事を笑顔で受け入れて下さいました。

そしてヨガの後に、今回のタイミングがとても良かったと

言って下さいました。

皆さんが仮設住宅に移り住み少し落ちついてきた今。

その落ちついてきた時にこそ、これから先の事を考え始めて。。

でも仕事も無ければ、まだがれきの撤去作業がされている町の中で

将来の事を考えると不安が募るばかりだと。。

ヨガをすると呼吸をする事に集中できて、ヨガに没頭出来て、

マインドをクリアーにする事ができ、終わった後には

体の中がすっきりしてエネルギーがわいてくるからこそ、

このタイミングがパーフェクトだったと美貴子さんが

お話をしてくれました。

このお言葉を頂いて私がどれだけほっとした事か。。

実は私はもっと前からヨガを皆さんとしたいと

思っていたのだけど、どんな状況なのかも解らなくて

皆さんの反応もどうなるのかと心配していたのです。

だからこそ皆さんのヨガをした後の笑顔を見た時に

涙が出そうなくらい嬉しかったです。

そして、”又来て下さいね！”と言われたときは

胸がジーンと温かくなりました。

絶対に皆さんに又会いに行きますからね！！

最後のワークショップに来て下さった皆さんと。。
