Salty Girl jewelry!
This is what I talked about on
my radio show the other day:
Salty Girl jewelry!
Amber, a tall, beautiful girl with
blond hair and blue eyes is
the owner/designer.
She wanted to show her love and
affection for the ocean through her
designs and so named her brand
Salty Girl! I thought that was really clever.
Amber studied the art of jewelry-making
from scratch, so she has experience in
crafting jewelry molds, and melting silver
and gold, something that really
makes her pieces unique.
I don't even know of anyone else who does this!
Her designs are very bold and interesting --
definitely not the types you normally see in stores.

とっても背が高くて奇麗な金髪に青い目の
Amberさん。彼女は幼い頃から海で遊んでいて
アートに興味があったそうです。そんな彼女が
大きくなって興味を持ったのはジュエリー作り。
奨学金で有名なアートの学校に通い、ジュエリーを
一から作る事を学んだ彼女はシルバー溶かし、型をつくる
所から入ります。
Salty Girl jewelry は、海が好きな彼女が
海が好きな人々に着けてもらえたらという想いが
込められて付けられた名前。
ここが彼女のアトリエ。
なんて素敵なview!!

And yup, they are spiky so be careful
if you kiss someone on the cheek!
この写真で彼女がしているピアスは、
なんとウニからインスパイアされたもの。
凄い所が、このウニの一本一本の針が動くんです！
ハワイでは、挨拶にほっぺにキスをするので
その時には相手の顔を針で刺さない様に気を付けて。
I really love the one I'm wearing in this photo,
which is a pair of lotus-leaf earrings.
The design is really simple and and pretty and
it really matches with any type of clothing.
そして、私が一番気に入ったのはこちら。
蓮の葉を想像して作ったもの。
どんな服にも合い、
とってもシンプルだけど美しいでしょう。
彼女の作品はとってもユニークで斬新な物ばかり。
