Schaper!

I went to visit my surfboard shaper, Carl Schaper, because I wanted to show him

my latest front cover in Le'a Le'a with me holding a board he shaped.

He was soooooo happy, he put it on his wall next to all these other pictures

of famous surfers. Stoked~!






私のボードを削っている、Carl Schaperさんの所に行ってきました。

彼に私が彼のボードを持って表紙になっている、Lea Leaを渡しに行ったら大喜びで、

すぐに彼の壁にずらっと飾ってある彼の板を乗っている有名なサーファーの中に貼ってくれました。

嬉しいわ







I also went up there for another reason -- I wanted to order a new board.

I've been riding my red board on the North Shore when the waves were big and

I started to realize that I need something more solid, so here I am ordering a new board.

I also got a board from Schaper to try out! He said it's a really fun

board that's good for small waves.

I might try it out tomorrow...I'll let you all know how it goes~!












もう一つ、私は理由があってここに来たのです！

そう、新しいボードをオーダーするため！！　

最近波が大きい時に乗っている赤いボードがあるのですが、それだとどうしても

波を降りて行く時にバタバタしてしまうんです。

なので、ノースショアの大きい波用にもっとしっかりとした折れにくいボードをオーダーしました。

そしたら、Schaperさんが最近波が頭～ダブルぐらいの時に乗っている良いボードがあるよ！

って、その板をかしてくれました！！　やった～！！　

明日、乗ってみようかな～！
