古民家を改装した店には囲炉裏があって、魚などを炙れるようになっている。今日のおすすめである五平餅を食べることにした。アーニャはそれを食べたら一緒に炙った朴葉味噌も食べた。父はそれと岩魚の塩焼きを肴に酒を飲んだ。
すっかり満足したみんなは、母が運転する車で帰宅した。家に帰ったアーニャは歯を磨いて寝た。
寒くなったらその店できりたんぽ鍋を食べようと考えるアーニャであった。
