I joined the compay as a graduate 5 years ago. After working as a sales representative at a dmestic branch in Tokyo, I was suddenly assigned to develop US business.

Yes, he was my go to mentor for the last year. Do you know Micheal?
Of course. He's an integral part of the US branch. I first met him at a global strategy conference at HQ in 2015. I've been to Tokyo many times, but I haven't visited the city since the pandemic began. I miss Japan.
Oh, I see. By the way., I went to Singapore when I was a student. I did a summer internship at a local hedgefund. I was a good opportunity to get to know local business culture.

I really enjoyed the people I worked with. We joked around sometimes to lighten a pressure.Although we were on the same team, we had some healthy competition. And that kept things fun. And we were a diverse team. So we learned a lot about different cultures. And we became life-long friends.
