Ueda describes why some people downplay the effect of cyberbullying. And McMillan says that if people feel hurt or laughed at rather than with, the joke has gone too far. Lyons says that if people continue even after they’ve been asked to stop, that’s bullying. He also cautions that some people can be more sensitive than others or may be dealing with certain issues and that everyone needs to take a stand against cyberbullying.
Downplay: 軽視する
Present something as not that significant. Play down the significance of something. Things like, the team downplayed the injury saying she would be back on the field soon. Or, the company downplayed the drop in sales saying it was just a seasonal decline.
Be targeted for:
Be the target for something, ah, something is aimed at you directed at you. We also say "be targeted by." You know, this indicates who is doing the targeting. Older people are often targeted by scammers. And "be targeted" is often a bad thing, you know, the image is, you know, somebody aiming a weapon at you. But there are cases when it's not bad. Like, this area has been targeted for redevelopment.

McMillan says, "The kind of harassment is disgusting - no question about it."

Or, no doubt about it. They both mean "This is absolutely true. This is definitely the case." For example, you could say, "I think he deserves the promotion most. No question about it. Or, she is the best sales person in the office. No doubt about it.
Define: 定義する
Determine what the meaning of something is. A word, a concept. Like, how do we define "happiness"? What constitutes "being happy"? Or, to use the noun, what is your definition of "success"?
Tricky: 厄介な、巧妙な
- If you describe a task or problem as tricky, you mean that it is difficult to do or deal with.

Things like, the way I see it, our prices are too high. Or, in my book we shouldn't discuss politics at work.

Go too far: 度を越す
Do something or take something to an excessive degree.
You know, excessive level. Let's say, two coworkers are arguing, and one of them calls the other one idiot. You think, "Oh, come on. That's going too far." You can have a disagreement. But you need to be polite.
Be upset about: 動揺する
Angry, unhappy about something. He is very upset about not getting the promotion, for example. Or, to use the transitive verb, it really upset him when the boss canceled his project.
