A staff meeting is generally attended by all the staff of a company or division and they're usually held regularly to talk about various issues involved in running the company or running that division. You might say, "We have a staff meeting every Monday morning." Or "We have a staff meeting twice a month."

The practice of a set of customary or unchanging and often mechanically performed activities or procedures.
A routine is a pattern of behavior in some situation, the actions we regularly engage in.
So, here, the pattern of behavior when doing remote-work. Likewise, people have a skin care routine or a self-care routine. Like, my selfcare routine involves having a cup of herb tea and listening to soothing music at night.

Have a casual, relaxed conversation about something. You can also say, chat informally or just chat. "Chat" itself refers to an informal, relaxed talk. Like, we chatted about our kids over lunch. Or, we had a nice chat about movies we've seen lately.

There's also "housework," various tasks around the house. My daughter helps with the housework. She takes out the trash.

Ueda says, "some of my colleagues developed pretty severe cases of cabin fever." A severe case can refer to an actual illness. Like, he developed a severe case of the flu.

Or, to use the opposite expression, she had a mild case of chicken pox. Ueda is using it metaphorically. Like, he had a severe case of nerves. It was his first time to give a speech. Or, I have a severe case of jealousy. I wish I had gotten a promotion.
