国民的アニメがそれぞれ存在します。
世界の子どもたちはどんなアニメを見て、
育っていくんだろう。
例えばアメリカでは、

知育番組だけど、
アニメとパペットの要素が混ざった子供の定番。
日本でもユニバにいるので人気ですよね！
他にも、
Blue’s Clues（ブルーズ・クルーズ）
子供向け推理アニメ。教育的で人気。
Dora the Explorer

スペイン語も学べる冒険アニメ。

In South Korea, Pororo the Little Penguin is super popular—it’s one of those kids’ shows that everyone knows, just like Anpanman in Japan. The main character is an
adorable little penguin!There’s also an anime called Tayo the Little Bus, where buses are the stars of the show. It even teaches kids about traffic rules!
Come to think of it, we don’t really have many anime in Japan where cars or buses are the main characters.

In France, there’s a popular kids’ show called Oui-Oui (known as Noddy in English). It’s pretty well-known across Europe and features cute little cars going on small adventures.
It seems like shows with vehicles as main characters are more common overseas!
And of course, there’s Barbapapa! It’s well-loved in Japan too, but I didn’t know it actually came from France. It’s the story of a fun family that can transform into all sorts of shapes—such a unique concept!

It’s actually super popular all over the world—even a lot of kids in the U.S. watch it!
Then there’s Thomas & Friends—yes, Thomas the Tank Engine! He’s one of the UK’s most iconic characters.
By the way, did you know Thomas has a totally new look these days? It’s kind of a big change!
