いまいちなんで麻酔が効くのが

わかってなかったって
知ってますか？
しかも最近わかった
衝撃の事実があるんです。
それは
実は植物も麻酔が効く
という事実。
これよく考えたらおかしくて、
麻酔は動物や人間の体の
神経系を麻痺させると
考えられてきました。
そして植物には、、
神経系がそもそもありません。
だから麻酔が効くなんて、
本当にありえないんです。

麻酔は結構長い間使われていたのに、
どうやって麻酔が働くのかは
なかなか解明されていませんでした。

This implies that anesthesia might impact all forms of life on Earth.

つまり地球上の生物全てに
麻酔が効いてしまうということ
なのかもしれないんです…
This revelation is remarkable. Unlike toxins, which vary in their effectiveness for different species (as seen in insecticides that are deadly to insects but not necessarily to humans), if anesthesia affects all organisms universally, its mechanism could potentially challenge fundamental aspects of life. Currently, there are two main theories attempting to explain the mechanism behind anesthesia.
