Poisons and drugs

In reality, if one takes medicine and poison together, the poison will prevail and its effects will be shown in the body.
If the poison is extremely potent, its effects will be pronounced, and in some cases, it may even lead to death.
In short, medicine usually does not have the power to neutralize poison.
On the other hand, when the Dharma is used as medicine, it generates enlightenment (= liberation) and can completely detoxify the three poisons (greed, anger, and ignorance), which are the fundamental sources of human suffering.
Moreover, this medicine not only neutralizes the three poisons but also transforms them into the three practices (discipline, meditation, and wisdom), functioning as a driving force that constantly brings the person to dwell in peace.
For this reason, the Dharma is considered the greatest medicine in this world, and is called both the miraculous medicine and the miraculous Dharma.
Moreover, this miraculous medicine is something that a Buddhist practitioner can create by themselves, requiring no cost or any kind of sacrifice.
Additionally, the path to obtaining this miraculous medicine is adorned with joy and prosperity, and it is free of danger.
People who seek true happiness from the depths of their hearts pursue this miraculous medicine, and actually obtain it, reaching and dwelling in this perfect peace (= nirvana).
So, how can one obtain this miraculous medicine?
The answer to this question is precisely what Buddhism teaches.
