Fatigue from practicing

Even in worldly matters, when you are doing something you truly love, you can immerse yourself in it without feeling tired.

Similarly, when a Buddhist practitioner is correctly following the Buddhist path, it can be said that they fundamentally do not feel tired.

Conversely, if a practitioner feels fatigued while engaging in Buddhist practice, it is highly likely that their practice is not truly established as Buddhist practice.

Forcing oneself to continue in such a state could potentially lead to illness.

This is because the practitioner is merely insisting that their practice is Buddhist practice without truly believing it in their heart.

For this reason, the various Tathagatas teach that the Buddhist path is one that should be walked with joy and splendor.

When faced with such a situation, it is recommended to view it as a turning point in your practice, return to the basics, and reassess your method of practice.

If no alternative method can be found, it is advisable to temporarily stop the practice and take a cooling-off period.

Additionally, you should examine whether you are practicing under any form of subjugation and, if necessary, take actions to free yourself from such constraints.

In short, Buddhist practice should be carried out based solely on one's free will.

Only then can merit be gradually accumulated, ultimately leading to the attainment of Nirvana.
