私が、小学校に入学した頃から活動されていたｗｗｗ
彼らが、日本のフォークソングに与えた影響は多大ですね。
公民権運動、社会的正義の活動をされてました。

Ｄｉｖｘが、自社の動画圧縮方式を、広めようとDｉｖｘが運営していたサイトです。
当時のＴｏｕＴｕｂｅとは比べ物にならないほど画質は良かったです。
閉鎖前には、ハイビジョン動画もアップロードされておりました。
当時も現在でも、画質がよく、音質もまあまあの動画がアップされており、お気に入りの動画は、ダウンロードし放題、ダウンロードボタンまでありました。著作権が問題になり閉鎖に追い込まれたサイトですが・・・
私は、閉鎖に追い込まれる以前、音楽中心にダウンロードしておりました。
その頃、ダウンロードしたものをコソコソ・・・
ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅにアップロード・・・
限定公開が多いので、ＴｏｕＴｕｂｅの検索には乗らない動画が多いです。

最近では、2007年、Noel Paul Stookeyさんが、北朝鮮による日本人拉致問題の解決（横田めぐみ救出）を願う「Song for Megumi」を発表されましたね。
来日し、拉致被害者支援コンサートに参加したことを、おぼえておられる方も多いでしょう。
拉致問題、日本国政府は、何もしないのでしょうか？
このまま、何もせずに沈黙・・・！
