高速道生活
Highway life
昨夜は19時半頃、大阪方面への高速道が渋滞中とのことで、その手前の草津PAにおりてしばらく休んでいた。トイレに行ったり、前に立ち寄った静岡のSAで買った沖縄の早生みかんを食べたり、そして車の中でちょっと眠ったりしていた。
そして、22時半を過ぎた頃、ようやく渋滞が解消になったらしいので、行けるところまで行ってみようと車を出した。真っ暗な夜の高速道は怖かった。周囲の車はものすごくスピードを出して追い抜いて行くし、辺りは暗くて他に車がいないと道もよく分からない。
23時過ぎくらいまで進んで、眠気に襲われSAを見つけてそこに飛び込む。歯を磨いて、車に戻り、しばし眠る。目覚めるとまた走る。同じことを3時にもやった。次に目覚めたときは5時半頃。もう薄明るくて、断然気分が良くなった。顔を洗って40分ごろに出発。この日の最低気温、19度から20度程度。快適を通り越してちょっと肌寒い感じ。そして7時頃、吉備SA辺りでは遂に17度になっていた。
高速道にはとりあえず、生活出来るものが揃っている。シャワー施設のあるSAもあったようだ。（行かなかったが）
今日は、昨日からずっと高速道生活だった朱鷺（shuro）のために雲がすごく遊んでくれたように思う。いろんな造形を見せて楽しませてくれた。何度もわくわくして、写真を撮ってしまった。
9時過ぎ頃に着いた小谷SAで大豆ミートハンバーガーを買って食べて、その後に寄った宮島では焼きたての鯛のちくわを食べた。そして、壮大な海を見た。12時頃に猛烈な眠気に襲われ、一瞬意識が飛んだ。あまりにヤバくって、仮眠をとりたかったが、待ち合わせがあったので時間までに辿り着けるか心配で休憩が出来ない。山陽道佐波川SAのセブンイレブンでワッフルコーン・バナナシェイクのアイスを買って、店の前のテーブル席で食べた。幾分目が覚めた気がした。
なんとか本州の端まで辿り着き、下関インターで高速道をおりて、紹介された赤間神社を訪れた。背景の空がとても綺麗で、海が近いために風が気持ち良く、ご祭神である安徳天皇の御心に想いを馳せた。
そのすぐ手前にも亀山八幡宮があったのを見つけていたので、車は赤間神社の駐車場に停めたまま、八幡宮まで歩いて行ってみた。そこも何人かの天皇（と皇后）を祭神とした神社であった。
下関の唐戸市場があったので、ちょっと立ち寄ってみた。そこでウニとイクラとカニの三色丼があり、あまりにおいしそうで一つ買ってしまった。（ほんとうは最後の二つを買おうとしたのだが、店の人が一つを落っことしてしまい、一個しかなくなってしまったのだ！）
17時頃に今夜の宿泊先の友人と無事に合流、待ち合わせをしたヤマ電機でフラッシュメモリーを買った。その後、一緒にお菓子やお酒を買いこみ、友人宅へ。焼きナスを作ってくれたので朱鷺（shuro）はじゃがいも餅を作って一緒に食べた。
Last night at around 19:30, the expressway to Osaka was congested, so I was at Kusatsu PA in front of it and took a rest for a while. I went to the bathroom, ate Okinawan oranges I bought at SA in Shizuoka, and slept a little in the car.
Then, after 22:30, the traffic jam was finally resolved. I decided to go as far as I could go, so I left the car. The highway on a pitch-black night was scary. The surrounding cars pass at a tremendous speed, and the area is dark and the road is not clear unless there are other cars.
After about 23:00, I was drowsy and found SA and jumped into it. Brush your teeth, go back to the car and sleep for a while. When I wake up, I run again. I did the same thing at 3 o'clock. The next time I wake up, it's about 5:30. It was already dim and I felt much better. Wash your face and leave around 40 minutes. The lowest temperature of the day, about 19 to 20 degrees. It feels a little chilly past comfort. And around 7 o'clock, it was finally 17 degrees around Kibi SA.
For the time being, there are things you can live on the highway. It seems that some SAs have shower facilities. (I didn't go)
Today, I think the clouds played a lot for me, who has been living on the highway since yesterday. He showed me various modeling and made me entertained. I was so excited that I took a picture.
I bought a soybean meat hamburger at Kodani SA, which arrived around 9 o'clock, and ate it, and then at Miyajima, I ate freshly baked sea bream chikuwa. And I saw the magnificent sea. Around 12 o'clock, I was struck by intense drowsiness, and my consciousness flew for a moment. I was so crazy that I wanted to take a nap, but I couldn't take a break because I had a meeting and I was worried that I could reach it by the time. I bought waffle corn and banana shake ice cream at Seven-Eleven in Sabagawa SA, Sanyo Expressway, and ate it at the table in front of the store. I felt like I was awake.
I managed to reach the edge of Honshu, took the highway at the Shimonoseki interchange, and visited Akama Shrine, which my friend suggested to me. The sky in the background was very beautiful, and the wind was pleasant because the sea was near, and I thought of the will of Emperor Antoku, the god of ritual.
There was Kameyama Hachimangu just before that, so I walked to Hachimangu with the car parked in the parking lot of Akama Shrine. It was also a shrine with some emperors (and empresses) as deities.
There was a Karato market in Shimonoseki, so I stopped by. There was a three-color bowl of sea urchin, salmon roe and crab, and it looked so delicious that I bought one. (I really tried to buy the last two, but the store clerk dropped one and only one was gone!)
I met a friend of my stay tonight around 17:00. I bought a flash memory at Yama Denki where I met. After that, we bought sweets and sake together and went to a friend's house. He made grilled eggplant, so I made potato mochi and ate it together.
