JYJ、This trio was formed by the ex-members of DBSK in 2010: Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun. The group enjoys great popularity even though they have released only one album, The Beginning (2010), and one CD, Their Rooms, Our Story (2011), which is more like an audiobook.
According to JYJ members, sasaeng fans have repeatedly broken into their houses, taken photos of the interior and stolen their personal belongings. As a result the group members had to tighten the security and install CCTV cameras in their homes.
JYJ managed to hold a world tour despite being caught up in a long lawsuit against SM Entertainment, a Korean record label, they had signed contracts with as DBSK members. The artists claimed that the contracts were “slave” and flatly refused to give most of their profits to the company. On November 28, 2012 the two sides finally reached an agreement. However, the details of the agreement remain undisclosed.
