Hello.(=⌒▽⌒=)
I am Jessica.
I teach English at this school.
My hometown is Cleveland, Ohio.
I have been studying in Kyoto since last September.
It seems that spring has finally come to kyoto.(^O^)
It has started to get warm and the cherry blossom season has ended.
だんだん暖かくなってきて桜の時期も終わりましたね。
While the cherry blossoms were still in boom, I went to Okazaki Park and took a boat ride to see the cherry blossoms up close.
I was able to take many pictures of the cherry blossoms.
It was so nice.(・ω・)/
Speaking of spring, have you ever heard the expression
〝April showers bring May flowers"?
4月の雨は5月の花を運んできてくれる
This expression is often used in English during the spring time when it rains almost everyday.(>_<)
The nearly constant rain, discourages many people and so they use this phrase to remind themselves of the beauty that spring beings.
Spring may bring rain but without the rain, there could be no spring flowers.

If you hear someone complaining about the rain, you can say this phrase in response.
4月の雨は5月の花を運んできてくれる♪
ポジティブな表現で私は好きです
