I have more Sashiko clothes but I am using the other Sashiko clothes covering the home appliances such as rice cooker and coffee maker. Sometimes, I use it to cover the cups and dishes also. It is an accent to the room while hiding the goods.
Sashiko cloth and thread are made from 100% cotton. It is very comfortable, so I gave my husband one instead of handkerchief. He said it is comfortable to wipe his hand and face. It is good water absorption.
My dear friend who lives abroad has good imaginations. She uses it asa placemat on the table. I am always inspired by her. I remember that during the lockdown, I sometimes shared a lovely time with her while enjoying Sashiko
