Finally I decided on a laptop
Today is the Emperor’s Birthday holiday and my husband and the youngest are at home. So, I tried to make the Gomadango (Sesame dumplings). This time, I used the Takoyaki plate insert instead of the flat one from the BRUNO compact hot plate
My youngest loves Ichigo daihuku (StrawberryMochi) so I decided to put fresh strawberry in the Gomadango and I also prepared sweetend boiled Japanese chestnut♬
Moreover, my friend had given me Strawberry anko butter paste before, so I mixed it into the red beans paste. I wrapped this paste and a fresh strawberry together into the Mochi dough and covered it with sesame. I repeated the same process eith the chestnut.!
However, it was very difficult to make beautiful round balls the size of the Takoyaki holes because strawberry shape and chestnut shape are not round.Mochi dough was also very soft, so easily broken
My youngest son and I rounded the balls and covered them with sesame. All the shapes are ugly but nicer because they were handmade
After frying the Gomadango, we ate them immediately. It was not what I imagined but there was a delicious harmony of red beans paste and strawberry in there
Yes! That’s an idea💡
