It's been quite a few days since my last post, hasn't it! Sorry about that!
Last week, my mother came to Fukuoka and then left! She arrived on the 7th, last Friday, and stayed to the 11th, which was Tuesday last week.
On the Friday, she arrived in the evening, so we had dinner at home and just talked.
On Saturday, we took it easy and just relaxed and talked some more. On the Sunday, we went to CostCo..
and some other shops in Hisayama as my mother needed some new shoes, and later that evening we went to our friends' house(the curry shop owners) for dinner and had Sukiyaki!
On Monday, we were invited to a student's house for lunch and she had made a feast! Check out the pictures!
Not only was the food great but we had a great chat throughout the meal too! Thank you so much for having us Kinuko-san!
After that we met another student and her friend in Tsutaya and had a chat and then I left my mother with them and went to teach my company lesson. After the lesson I called them and they had moved to a yakitori restaurant opposite the Daimaru department store on Kokutai dori. We had a nice chat and the food was good! Thank you very much Attcha and Akimi-san!!
Lastly, on Tuesday, instead of going with my mother to Okayama as originally planned, my mum did her packing, i took her to a 100yen shop for her to buy some little souvenirs and then I took her to Hakata station and sent her on her way to her friend's in Okayama
Although her stay was very short, we spent a lot of time together and talked a lot. Luckily, her stay coincided with Mother's Day so I was able to get her a little present
Thank you for coming to visit me mum! Love ya and missing you already! I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay and please send my love to everybody! xxx
At Hakata station my mum bought me a "station lunch box" which I ate when I got home.
I hadn't had one of these in a long time and it was pretty tasty
Thanks mum! x
I had some free time and decided to get a haircut as my hair was getting long and annoying I called the place where I normally get my hair cut but it went straight to their answer machine, so I had a gamble and went to the trendiest-looking hair salon in Zasshonokuma
I went inside the salon and the girl straightaway asked "Do you go to LeaLea?", which is my friend's curryshop, and it turns out that she had seen me many times. Unfortunately I couldn't remember her face
I saw the first episode of a new drama called "tsuki no koibito", and one of the guys in it had a hair cut which I thought I could pull off!
